Voice over IP moduleThis module provides batch transmission of voice messages by IP protocol (Voice over IP, VoIP), which is used in different applications: from internal office communications to trunk and long-distance communications services. In first situation, user calls are processed by special telephone stations IP-PBX and soft switches (e.g. Mera MVTS). To operate with this type of equipment you need the Voice over IP (VoIP) module, which is designed to provide VoIP services to end users and allows the system to process both permanently registered users, and prepaid card users. The module inlcudes the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) menu that helps telephone users interact with the access server with DTMF signals. The IVR menu messages can be in English, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, and Greek. The VoIP module provides the following functionality. User authorizationUpon user connection, the access server launches a TCL script to support interactions through the IVR menu. The users select menu items with the DTMF signals. The script interacts with B&CC Bill-Master through the RADIUS protocol, including authorization requests. Billing of servicesCall duration information is collected through the RADIUS protocol. When a call is finished, the system performs final calculation of costs (billing) and withdraws required sums from user accounts. IVR menuThe IVR menu allows users to interactively manage the VoIP services: making a call, checking user account deposits, retrieving information, etc. The menu comprises several items, which are selected in the tone mode. |
