Planning of services in the broadband segment
The function of the broadband segment service planning is designed for departments of planning and development of operator’s services. The function allows to check the possibility of providing new services for a group of subscribers, for network segments and for a network as a whole.
The function is related to operation of the network condition modeling module. The network model is build on the basis of actual information about current condition of a network.
For each subscriber, potentially connected to a new service, there is created a separate quality index profile after upgrading of services. According to an aggregate of individual models there is built a general network model after system upgrading and introduction of new services.
The system accounts all orders and requests of customers, to which a refusal was sent according to results of technical capability check. Orders are grouped according to districts and services. As a result there is prepared estimation of perspective percentage of new service entry and recommendations on implementation of a new service in specific network segments.
