Forecasting and modeling of network development
The function of forecasting and modeling of network development in the BBA segment is designed for departments of planning and development of operator’s network. The function allows to evaluate network development tendencies on the whole (integral estimation and trend assessment) and find the most problem areas of a network (differential estimation).
The function is related to work of the network condition modeling module. In accordance with actual data about network condition, the network model is built on physical and channel levels. During modeling of different conditions and tendencies of network development the following estimates are formed:
- a trend in development of key network quality indexes (KQI) on the whole and by segments;
- distribution of potentially trouble areas in the network and analysis of their geography;
- forecasting of network behavior in different environments;
- estimation of the average and maximum time interval before considerable reconstruction in the network as a whole and its separate areas.
