Examination of cable network condition
The function of cable network condition examination is designed for specialists and managers of line-cable department (LCD), departments of connection, upgrading and control of operator’s service quality. The function solves the following tasks:
- development of labor productivity in LCD servicing segments;
- control of subscribers cable network segments;
- systemic analysis of current and perspective conditions of cable network and forecasting of its upgrade;
- differential analysis of cable network, identification of segments where the quality of physical connection channels is the lowest.
The function ensures drawing of the following reports, used in business processes during work of LCD service department specialists:
- reports/scheduling of work for day/week;
- reports on the worst cables (hit parade) according to a generalized quality index and the number of customer complaints (unsatisfied connection orders);
- detailed analysis of quality indexes (work measurement);
- quality indexes before and after repair, replacement of cable, and DSLAM rise;
- efficiency of the LCD service department work according to the average index of cable system quality;
- differential analysis of cable network (attenuation fields, restoration fields, ets.);
- control of performance indexes of a work team, which improves cable quality for bonus payment depending on the total improvement of cable quality indexes.
