RADIUSD tarifficator authorizes customers when it receives Access-Request. During authorization there is performed customer identification (by logins and passwords, PIN-codes, phone numbers), check of authorization conditions, calculation of session duration. Settings of objects "Access point", "Service", "Tariff plan".
When authorization is successful Billmaster informs the access server about the maximum possible session duration. This parameter is calculated based on the following values:
Multi-login – is simultaneous providing to customers of several services, which are paid from one personal account. Billmaster allows to limit the maximum possible number of simultaneous connections. For example, if a customer is allowed to establish two Dial-Up-connections simultaneously, then on attempt to establish the third one, authorization is denied (but a customer may establish connection of another type, for example VoIP)
Free funds (which are not reserved for active sessions) are equally distributed between active sessions and a new one. Then based on service prices there is calculated the maximum possible duration of a new session. Calculation is performed in such a way, that the moment of automatic session closing is maximally close to the moment of full exhaust of funds from the personal account.
