Resources counters

During the accounting period counters collect the information about volumes of traffic and duration of calls individually for each customer. Upon finishing of the period counters clear to initial values. The mechanism of volume-price coefficients is based on counters.

The so called counter classes are created in B&CC Billmaster. They are prototypes for counters, which belong to these classes (counters inherit parameters of classes). Tariff plans contain references to counter classes, and as a result an individual counter is automatically created for each connected service with this tariff plan.

Counter classes are bound to groups of traffic zones or telephone zones (depending on index counted), where for each class there are chosen specific zones. Counters record volumes of services according to selected zones only. The next picture shows an example of reference to a group of four zones. If two of them are selected in settings of counter class, then only for these two zones counters will collect total indexes.

For classes of counters there are also selected time segments from schedules (any schedules from those created in Billmaster can be used). Counters are active during selected segments only. The rest of the time counters are not active and indexes are not counted.
